McKendree began offering graduate degrees in January of 2004 with a Master in Arts in Education. Today, along with the MAED, we offer graduate programs in business administration, nursing and professional counseling. Classes are designed for the adult learner and working professional — with classes in the evening and online, at the Lebanon, IL, campus and at off-campus sites.

McKendree’s Master of Arts in Education program includes tracks in educational leadership, educational studies, teacher certification, music education, teacher development and special education. McKendree also offers coursework leading to endorsements in reading, driver’s education, and middle school. The Master of Arts in Professional Counseling meets educational requirements for licensure in both Illinois and Missouri and targets those interested in working in a clinical field, such as counseling individuals, couples and families. McKendree’s Master of Business Administration focuses on integrated learning experiences, in which students develop problem solving and team building skills, and creating an environment in which they can learn from the faculty and from each other. The MBA program is offered in two formats, classroom and e-Learning. The Master of Science in Nursing includes tracks in nursing education and nursing management/administration.
