The women of CLIO are celebrating their 140^th anniversary. All former members are invited to attend this reception and reunion at Circuit Riders Hall of Bothwell Chapel. Bring your photos and yearbooks and renew old acquaintances as you meet other CLIO sisters.

 

Members of the classes of the 60s - 80s are invited to a reception prior to the Spencer Theater of Illusion performance. Even if you don’t plan to go to the show, come and visit with classmates!

The Spencers present a captivating, interactive show that combines drama, comedy, romance and suspense with elaborate stage illusion and special effects, redefining the word “magic” for a new generation of spectators.

 

Graduates of the ’90s and ’00s are invited to a party at Brewer’s. Nick French ’06 will be your DJ. Free admission and attendance prizes.

Check-in at the Alumni Registration table. Tickets for your selected activities will be included in your registration packet along with a schedule of events. This is where you will pick up your FREE Homecoming T-Shirt if you pre-register by the Oct. 2 deadline.

 

All former volleyball team members are invited to join their teammates in a friendly scrimmage against Coach Evelyn Bean’s current Bearcat squad. 

 

Visit the McKendree University bookstore Upper Deneen and take advantage of special discounts just for McKendree Alumni.

All Ferox Alumni (Phi Rho Chi) are invited to ride the trolley in the parade and then gather in the north parking lot afterward to reconnect and get acquainted with other Ferox alumni. The Trolley lines up in the Convocation Center parking lot at 9:30 a.m. and the tailgate party starts in the north parking lot after the parade.

 

All Sigma Nu alumni are invited to ride on the firetruck in the parade. After the parade Sigma Nu alumni, family and friends are invited to the tailgate party in the north parking lot. RSVP online by Oct. 7 at MetroEast.SigmaNu@gmail.com.

 

The entire family will enjoy games in the Quad. Bounce on the inflatable play structures. Play horseshoes, Frisbee and more. Bring the kids and have a blast!

 

Bring your family and friends after the parade for food, entertainment and activities for guests of all ages. Have your photo taken with friends, family or Bogey.  Lunch tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-12, children under 5 are free.

 

All former Homecoming kings and queens as well as court members are invited to attend the royalty alumni reception prior to the football game. Former royalty in attendance will also be recognized during the game.

 

Reserved seats are $5, general admission seats are $3, children under 5 are free. Cheer for the Bearcats as they face conference foe, Waldorf College.

 

A welcome reception starts at 6 p.m. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. Awards ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. Alumni to be honored: Sports Hall of Fame inductees: William Roberts ’61, Mark Markus ’93, Brooke (Portz) Mueth ’00, and Agne (Visockaite) Eggerth ’02; Academy of Excellence inductees: Ardell “Bud” Albers ’87, Wendell Mitchell ’59, Ed McGlynn ’68, Jodi (Edgar) Reinhardt ’92, Brainard Miller ’51 and Anna McNeely ’72; Loyal Service Award recipients: Barney ’52 and Joan Barnes ’53, Charles Lee ’74 and John Bailey ’76; Friends of the University honorees: Dr. Jay Noffsinger and Dr. Lawrence Stein. The Peter Akers Award for the most outstanding alumna/alumnus will be announced.

 

The dance starts at 9 p.m. (or shortly following the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony) so put on your dancing shoes and join the music and fun. Tickets for the dance are FREE. 

 

All members of your family are invited to join the fun either running or walking the course from McKendree to Horner Park and back. Runners and walkers will have plenty of time to finish the course and attend Chapel service.

Join McKendree University Chaplain, Rev. Dr. Tim Harrison and Rev. Gary Wilson, District Superintendent, Mississippi River District, IGRAC, who will lead alumni, students, faculty and friends in worship.

 

After worshipping with family and friends, the Alumni Association invites you and your family to be our guests for a FREE Sunday Brunch to enjoy additional fellowship and reminiscing.

 

Members of the Class of 1959 and the Golden Anniversary Club (classes that graduated 50 years ago or more) are invited to the Golden Anniversary Luncheon at Student Lounge in the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts .  Free for members of the Class of 1959 and one guest, $15 for all others. 

 

Award-winning actor/director/playwright Frank Ferrante in his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in the two-act comedy featuring the best Groucho one-liners and songs.

Join Coach Jim Boehne and the current Bearcat squad for a lively game and lots of food and fun.  All former Bearcat baseball players and families are invited to attend.
