Online and External Programs

At McKendree University, the term “traditional” student has lost its traditional meaning. Whereas traditional students used to refer to 18-22 year old students coming directly from high school and living on campus, today it is extremely common to find adult learners returning to school and many learners of all ages interested in distance education.

McKendree University has many programs that are taught at locations other than on the Lebanon, Illinois historic, residential campus. For years, McKendree University has delivered its high quality programs to sites in Illinois, Kentucky, and the Scott Air Force Base. In addition, McKendree offers blended classes combining the best of face-to-face learning with engaging, interactive technology-based sessions. Moreover, specific courses and programs are available to students completely online.

As student needs and learning preferences evolve, so do the course offerings of McKendree University. Each semester, including the summer session, McKendree offers high quality, engaging, and innovative course programming. Regardless of the format, location, or content of the class, McKendree University offers a high quality educational experience for all.
