Annual Fund Coordinator

McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage the annual giving program of the University.  The successful candidate will be responsible for direct mail, telemarketing, special giving clubs, and volunteer development programs pertaining to alumni, parents, students and friends of the University.  This person will also be responsible for planning some events for the Office of Institutional Advancement.
 
Candidates must have knowledge of the principles and practices of fund raising; strong computer skills (preferably with Raiser’s Edge); strong communication skills; an ability to motivate and work well with volunteers; and creativity, initiative and independence in carrying out responsibilities.  Availability for evening and some weekend work is required.  Bachelor’s degree is required.  Master’s degree and prior annual fund experience are preferred.
